Rescue Group Links for Rescuing Dogs from Puppy Mills & Adopting Rescue Pets
Our beloved fur family members are all rescue dogs that were either rescued from puppy mills or abandoned by their families. Since our fur kids are among the fortunate ones who found their way to rescue groups, we are seriously committed to supporting organizations that rescue dogs: big dogs, small dogs, purebreds, or mutts. Bloomingtails Dog Boutique also contributes to several rescue groups, as well as provides foster care for our local rescues.
If you are looking for a new member to your family, please consider adopting a dog from a rescue group or your local humane society. The following Rescue Group Links will provide more information on rescuing dogs from puppy mills, including the horrors these puppies are subjected to and where you can adopt a rescue pet.

Our toy breeds are in grave danger! Each year, millions of dogs are euthanized due to the lack of a family to adopt them. Pet over population has affected the toy breeds due to their becoming a status symbol or as a fashion statement. |

How much is that doggie in the pet store window? Too much! Did you know that most pet store puppy purchases support puppy mills and encourage them to continue operations?
If you are unsure of what a puppy mill is, please visit the Prisoners of Greed website. Warning: very graphic pictures of deplorable living conditions!
